About The Project
We started working with Elisa Leung, Associate Interior Designer at Cutler Design Consulting to source a high quality, lightweight and cost-effective cinderblock panel as an alternative for Adidas’ new design of their retail locations that commenced in March of 2019.

The Challenge
The challenge Elisa faced at Cutler design was to find a lightweight veneer or panel product design that matched Adidas’ new design theme of an industrial cinderblock wall without having all the traditional elapsed time and labour costs associated with an installation of heavy blocks with mortar and a stone veneer.
The Result
We worked through various designs ideas and found a solution that met all of Adidas and Elisa’s design criteria. Elisa presented this design to Adidas Corporate office and our product was specified for the Adidas new design rollout. We have supplied our panel designs to several locations across Canada thus far and recently (December 2020) sent another order for their Brentwood Mall location design project. Mavacon has been overseeing the completion of this project, with a planned completion in early 2021.
It is an honor to be supplying our products to Adidas on their retail store projects and working with general contractors such as Rochon Building Corp, Mavacon, and Ploutos Enterprises Ltd to name a few.
